As for all of our activities, products and services in UMCJ, we have established an Environmental Management System to comply with the requirements as specified by ISO14001 for all of the departments, including, Manufacturing Department, Sales and Marketing Department and Administrative Department and we have received an ISO14001 certification in September 2003. The scope of the certification includes all our business activities which relate to semiconductor process development, manufacturing and services.
After completely shifting to adopt the ISO14001, in August 2006 the first renewal audit was conducted and the certification activity is carrying out continuously.
In the future, we commit to make more effort on maintaining and improving of ISO14001 based management system and environment management activity such as energy saving resources saving…etc. in order to fulfill the expectation of our customers and local community.
